Byron Bay continued...
As with all great holiday destinations, there are plenty of places to shop. It’s especially worth going to the Byron Bay Markets at Butler Street. It’s held on the first Sunday of every month and boasts hectares of stalls, neatly arranged but spectacular in appearance. All sorts of homewares, craft items, artworks and local produce are on offer, and there’s a performance area in the middle of the market where a vast array of entertainers put on shows of music, acrobatics, juggling, and even fire-eating.
So if you’re in need of a break this summer, don’t just spend an afternoon at your local beach, head over to Byron Bay for a whole weekend – or more – of rejuvenating ‘me’ time.
